Savory Baked Brie Appetizer With Sun Dried Tomatoes Recipe – the easiest, festive, flavorful and delicious appetizer, perfect for the holidays. Topped with bacon, toasted pine nuts and basil.

  • 13.4 oz round of brie cheese
  • 2 tbsp pesto sauce
  • 2/3 cups sun dried tomatoes, chopped About 8 tomatoes. I used sun dried tomatoes in oil
  • 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp bacon bits (optional – but recommended)
  • 1 tbsp chopped basil
  • crackers for serving


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Remove brie from the packaging and place on the baking sheet. Spread the pesto sauce on top. Add the sun dried tomatoes.

  3. Bake for 13-15 minutes.

  4.  Remove from the oven. Top with pine nuts, bacon (optional) and basil. Serve.
