Our Top 3 F&D in MN!

Lately there’s been a lot of buzz about the Minneapolis food and drink scene.  From Vogue to Esquire and even National Geographic, people are talking about the must-see venues that are putting Minneapolis on the map!  Here are our top 3:

Spoon and Stable logo

1. Topping lists for all the right reasons, is Spoon and Stable.  Everything about the experience is impeccable.  From the service, to the décor, to the perfectly executed menu.  In the trendy North Loop neighborhood, this restaurant is housed in a charming rustic brick building (repurposing and old horse stable).  Reservations must be made well in advance, but it’s well worth it.  Insider’s tip: ask to sit at the “kitchen counter” where you’ll be able to see the chefs work up close.

2. Sisters Ky and Mel are the masterminds behind Gyst Fermentation Bar.  This trendy farm-to-table spot boasts a variety of fermented drinks and food.  Highlights: Baker’s Field Table Bread drizzled with Fermented Garlic Honey, the Pickle Plate (selection of 4 traditional pickles), or their many cheese and sausage boards (served on a whole or half “Motherboard”).  We recommend the Lam-Bucha (Lambrusco rosé & Kombucha) wine cocktail to really complete the meal.

Steel Toe Brewing Logo. St. Louis Park, Minnesota

3. Steel Toe Brewery started small in 2011, but as they’ve grown, they’ve maintained that same commitment to quality and integrity. The name speaks to the owners’ blue-collar roots, and their work ethic. Their award-winning beer, The Provider, was the first beer they ever brewed and a testament to what their success means to them.  Visit their busy tap room to enjoy a number of their beers, and you’ll understand how they’ve come this far.
